  This is the second time my husband and i stayed in the lodges and fished at woodland view. So friendly and helpful. Lodges of a high standard accommodation and very clean. matching fishing and hospitality. Thank you will be back again soon.

  If I could rate this 0 stars i would! I turned up at woodland view for a days pleasure fishing with my brother and 10 year old nephew, as he is a keen young fisherman only to be greeted by what I would call the most vile human being I've ever met, as we were in the tackle shop amongst at least 6 other anglers waiting to buy there bait, we asked for rules on bait and tackle as you do, only to be spoken to in an aggressive and violent manner by the man behind the counter to which we had no choice but to leave and take my upset nephew out of that situation we found ourselves in. If you have young children keen on fishing don't take them to woodland view!! We drove 10 mins down the road to moorlands farm course fishery where the fishing,cafe and food is as good as it gets and most importantly the people there were fantastic, very helpful welcoming and polite especially to my 10 year old nephew who caught his PB of 12.5 pounds.
